Does my text get sent to any server?
By default, no. All corrections run through Gemini Nano, Chrome's built-in on-device model. Nothing leaves your machine. Cloud fallback (OpenAI/Anthropic) is optional and only activates if you add your own API key in Settings.
Does it work with Tamil, Malayalam, and other Indian scripts?
Yes. Pinogrammer detects Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi, Telugu, and Kannada automatically using Chrome's Language Detector API and Unicode block heuristics. Corrections happen in the original script — no transliteration required.
Will it break the page I'm on?
No. The suggestion card renders inside a Shadow DOM, completely isolated from the host page's CSS and JavaScript. It won't trigger form validators, conflict with React state, or break any page layout.
Does it work in Notion, Gmail, Slack?
Yes. Pinogrammer attaches to contenteditable elements as well as standard input and textarea fields. A MutationObserver re-attaches listeners when SPAs update the DOM, so Gmail compose, Notion pages, and Slack message boxes all work.
What's the difference between free and Pro?
Free gives you unlimited on-device corrections (Gemini Nano) and 3 cloud sessions per week. Pro (via PinoSuite subscription) unlocks unlimited cloud sessions, Pro glossary for domain-specific terminology, and priority model routing.
Does it work on Google Docs?
Google Docs renders on a canvas element rather than a standard text field, so Pinogrammer cannot attach directly. A banner explains this when you open Docs. Use it in the thousands of other text-based editors instead.
