Questions

Can I use PinoSnap without an account?
Yes. The free tier is fully offline — no sign-in required. An account is only needed to activate a Pro subscription.
Where are my captures stored?
In your browser's IndexedDB — local to your Chrome profile. No data leaves your device until you use the Pro cloud sync feature and explicitly choose to share.
Does GIF export require internet?
No. GIF encoding runs entirely in the browser using WebAssembly. It works offline.
How does OCR work without a server?
OCR uses Tesseract.js — a WebAssembly build of the Tesseract engine. It downloads once on first use and runs locally after that.
What happens if I cancel?
You drop back to the free tier (20 captures/day). All your existing captures remain in your local storage — nothing is deleted.
